The Koski Solar Farm represents a major milestone in renewable energy for Finland. Located at 60°41’54.52”N, 23°8’32.28”E, this project spans 34.5 hectares, with 80% of the land being agricultural and 20% forested. With a peak output of 33.27 MWp, the solar farm is designed to produce clean, sustainable energy while significantly reducing carbon emissions.
The project is expected to save approximately 50 tons of CO₂ annually compared to carbon-based energy sources and an additional 30 tons compared to natural gas. These figures emphasize Koski’s role in combating climate change and promoting a greener future.
As a flagship initiative, Koski combines advanced technology and efficient land use to integrate renewable energy seamlessly into the environment, setting a new standard for sustainability in Finland.
